Building Inspections
We carry out building inspections on projects we are the consultants. This is a necessary part of the project to ensure the builder has followed the intent of the documents. But we are also able to carry out inspections of buildings which are subject to cracking walls, sagging roofs or floors, or to inspect a commercial building where a significant load is to be placed on a floor not intended in the original design. Thus we report on our findings and do this all for a modest fee.
We can inspect existing buildings where a modification is required like removal of a wall or addition of a new floor.
We can also consult on Structural Adequacy and Structural Framing and provide Dilapidation Reports as well as Compliance Certification.
Civil Design
Civil Design encompasses the design of storm water drainage, and concrete or asphalt paving as all-in-one packages when documenting the structural aspects of a project.
We can supply storm water design documents prepared for Council Endorsement via Building Surveyors or Planners.
Storm water Design usually involves On-Site Detention tank sizing with close contact with Council engineers. Our highly trained and experienced staff are well equiped to produce the necessary documentation.
We are able to produce Car Park Design, Drainage Design, Pavement and Road Design as well as Stormwater Design.
Structural Design
Our primary consultancy is Structural Engineering Design. We provide services for Builders, Architects, Councils and Developers. Our projects vary from complex housing, multi-level apartments to schools, radio stations and medical centres to list just a few.
We use the latest software design and analysis packages to facilitate our work. We have a small team of staff who are well trained to do the engineering and drafting required to ensure the timely delivery of our projects.
We frequently report on buildings suffering footing movement, or provide checks on existing floors for unusual loadings.
For example, we provide reports on the design of concrete, foundations, racking, steel, timber, walls and warehouses; as well as retaining structures, structural analysis, and underpinning.
Drafting
We utilise the latest on CAD tools to provide the engineering documentation required for our projects. We are able to produce the necessary documentation in digital or physical mediums as necessary.
We are well equipped to produce architectural, structural and conceptual drawings, provide professional CAD drafting, as well as provide printing and copying services as needed.
