Our Story

Established in 1996, David Jones Structural Consultants grew from humble beginnings.

After 20 years of acquiring a vast range of skills and experience working as a senior member of a number of major Engineering firms, owner, director and Principal Engineer, David Jones, commenced his own practice in 1996.

Over the last quarter of a century his diligence, creativity, and his adherence to practical and economic design  principles has directly led to the creation of a loyal 200 plus client base, all of whom return for further service.
That service remains as specialist structural and civil engineering and it is exercised with use of the latest computer software.

And it is applied to a wide range of Building Construction.

From single house alterations through to single houses and multi-townhouse developments, to multi-unit high rise residential buildings.

From restaurant fit-outs to warehouse complexes.

From highly specialist studio/acoustic construction to bridges, signage, and heritage restorations.

There is no building challenge too big, too small, or too complex that can’t be met and resolved.
